Hear Spot Run
Inverse Marketing is an evolutionary offshoot of Hear Spot Run Radio Advertising. Hear Spot Run was founded to write, cast and produce radio commercials, mostly of the humorous variety.
Writing 30- and 60-second radio spots is an exercise in message discipline. With radio, we lived by three rules:
- Think backwards – Start with the audience and their needs, then work back to the message.
- Keep it simple – Focus on one to three key messages. Period.
- Engage the audience from the top – The first five seconds are critical in “hooking” the audience.
The approaches and strategies we employed in radio are directly applicable to communicating in today's digital multitasking world.
