B2E: Helping Employees Plan for Their Financial Futures

Client General Board of Pension and Health Benefits of The United Methodist Church (GBoP)
Agency Partner Andrus Design

Inverse Contribution Strategy meeting facilitation, marketing strategy including detailed timeline and plan, copywriting, editing, direct mail, posters, print advertising

Audiences More than 30,000 Church employees scattered across the United States who are eligible for the GBoP retirement benefits program.

Marketing goals GBoP wanted eligible employees to make use of GBoP-funded, FREE financial planning from Ernst & Young. In previous years, these comprehensive, personal sessions with a certified E&Y financial planner cost employees $100. GBoP’s goals were two-fold: help employees properly plan for retirement, and keep more retirees funds in GBoP-sponsored plans. The campaign was a success and GBoP is repeating the FREE financial planning again in 2009.
